Cansas Goller, LPC

A steady presence for children and families navigating change

Cansas offers compassionate, thoughtful care that honors each client’s unique story while supporting emotional balance, resilience, and growth. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, body image concerns, infertility or pregnancy-related loss, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Cansas brings a steady, grounding presence to therapy, helping clients feel safe, understood, and supported through change.

She earned her Master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina and has over a decade of experience across school-based settings, private practice, and trauma-informed roles. Her professional background includes serving as a forensic interviewer and expert witness in child abuse cases, providing a strong foundation in assessment, advocacy, and ethical care for vulnerable populations.

Having grown up in a military family, Cansas understands the emotional impact of frequent relocations, deployments, and shifts in family dynamics. This lived experience informs her work with both military-connected and civilian families navigating uncertainty, loss, or transition. She is especially attuned to children and adolescents who may internalize stress or struggle to express their feelings.

Cansas values diversity in beliefs, identities, and lived experiences. She provides affirming, inclusive care and thoughtfully integrates faith or spirituality when desired, in a client-led and non-assumptive way. She is committed to creating an ethical, supportive therapeutic environment where clients can build confidence, self-trust, and clarity as they move toward greater stability and well-being.

"Healing begins when we feel seen, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges with courage and compassion."
