Hannah Love, LPC

Specializations include helping children and adolescents overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Hannah joined Pathways as an associate therapist in 2021.  Her education includes a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Anderson University / Indiana (2016) and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University (2019).

Mrs. Love has dedicated her education and post-graduate experience to helping promote mental well-being in children, adolescents, and their families.  She has had the valuable opportunity to work with children on the Autism spectrum via an ABA classroom setting and has worked as a school-based mental health counselor in two different elementary schools.  These experiences have provided her with a broad range of experiences with children from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.  Additionally, she has gained valuable insight into various school processes crucial to helping many children obtain educational supports integral to their success.

Specializations include helping children and adolescents overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma.  Hannah is skilled at working with clients on adaptively managing difficult emotions that often lead to emotional distress and/or behavioral issues.  She has helped many children and teens navigate the countless changes to their lives as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic via both in-person and telehealth sessions.

Hannah's gentle presence puts children and adolescents at ease as they seek to better understand and navigate their inner and outer worlds.  Therapeutic modalities include art, play, and activity-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including Trauma-Focused), and methods that help clients focus on and draw upon their many strengths.  She also provides an opportunity for clients to engage in animal-assisted therapy through her therapy dog, Ollie (Scroll down for Bio!).

Hannah enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her therapy dog Ollie, family and friends, soccer, and watching movies in her free time.

Ollie

Ollie joined the crew at Pathways as a therapy dog in training in 2022.  He began slowly accompanying Hannah Love in sessions at client's request.  Ollie is a 1-year-old Portuguese water dog. He loves everyone especially if they give him treats or cuddles, and enjoys putting a smile on clients’ faces with his happy, goofy self. Ollie completed training with Paw and Order Dog Training in November of 2022 after successfully passing the Canine Good Citizen test. In 2023, Ollie will complete his therapy dog training with Therapy Dogs United.
